Arm Untoro said that the coordination meeting aims to ensure that all technical preparations are in place for the personnel involved in welcoming President Prabowo, starting from the pre-event, the implementation of activities, to the end of the event.

“The President is scheduled to arrive in Nganjuk on May 16, 2026. The agenda for the visit includes inaugurating the Marsinah Labour Hero Museum and Rest House, followed by the inauguration of the KDMP, which will be centered in Nglawak Village, Kertosono District,” he said on Friday, May 15, 2026, quoted from the official website of the Nganjuk Regency Government.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Nganjuk, Marhaen Djumadi, said that the regency government is ready to provide full support to ensure the success of Prabowo’s entire visit. He said that the Nganjuk Regency Government is ready to deploy all regional units, such as the Transportation Service, the Civil Service Police Unit, and the Environmental Service.

“We will support it as much as possible,” he said. “We will do our best to help secure and ensure the smooth running of the President’s activities.”

The Deputy Regent of Nganjuk, Trihandy Cahyo Saputro, also instructed all regional units to work together to support the smooth running of the event. Handy hopes that the public will also participate in welcoming and enlivening this moment.

“We are also preparing a fleet of fire trucks at three strategic locations, including at the helicopter landing site at the Nganjuk Stadium and the Kertosono Stadium, as well as at the event location,” said Handy.

He explained that the Health Office has also prepared a treatment room, or mini ICU. Personnel from the Civil Service Police Unit and the transportation service have also been deployed to help secure and regulate traffic along the route of the activities.

President Prabowo previously announced his plan to visit Nganjuk during a speech to a crowd of workers at the International Labor Day commemoration at the National Monument area, Jakarta, on May 1, 2026. He said that he would soon inaugurate the Marsinah Museum.

The General Chairman of the Gerindra Party said that he would go to Nganjuk, Marsinah’s hometown, in the near future. “This month, I will go to Nglundo Village, Nganjuk, East Java, to inaugurate the labor struggle museum, which will be named the Marsinah Museum,” said Prabowo.

Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono said that the government will begin the symbolic inauguration of the operational activities of 1,061 ‘Merah Putih’ village/urban cooperatives on May 16, 2026. According to Ferry, about a thousand of these cooperatives are ‘Merah Putih’ Village Cooperatives in Central Java and East Java that are ready to operate.

The inauguration coincides with President Prabowo’s visit to Nganjuk to inaugurate the Marsinah Museum. “After the event, the President will visit village/urban cooperatives and symbolically inaugurate the operational activities of cooperatives in Central Java and East Java,” said Ferry while attending a national coordination meeting of the Ministry of Cooperatives in Jakarta, Wednesday, May 13, 2026, quoted from Antara.
