Prabowo to Inaugurate 1,386 Fishermen Villages in December

On Miangas Island, Prabowo targeted the construction of a Fishermen Village to begin next month. The construction is targeted to be completed within five months, allowing fish catches to be marketed to other regions. “Hopefully, there will be one fishermen village here in a short time. How long if construction starts next month? That means how many months? In five months, you will have a pretty good fishermen village,” he stated. “There is already an airport, so perhaps the fish can be marketed, so that the income increases, I think,” he continued. In the fishermen village, there will later be ice-making machines as well as cold storage warehouses. The government will also provide fuelling stations specifically for fishermen.
