Prabowo to Hold Cabinet Session at Palace Today to Discuss Eid Preparedness

President Prabowo Subianto will convene a Plenary Cabinet Session (SKP) at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta today. The session will be attended by all members of the Red and White Cabinet, including ministers, deputy ministers, agency heads, special advisers and special assistants to the president.

The schedule was confirmed by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. He stated that the SKP would discuss government preparedness ahead of Eid al-Fitr celebrations.

“Yes, that’s correct. So today there will be a cabinet session regarding Eid preparedness at 4 p.m. WIB,” Teddy told reporters on Friday, 13 March 2026.

Teddy noted that Prabowo’s agenda would begin with personal zakat payments through Baznas. The zakat payment would also be followed by cabinet members.

“Beginning with the payment of property zakat and fitrah zakat from cabinet members to the National Zakat Agency,” he said.

Teddy stated that the zakat payment agenda by cabinet members would be held at the State Palace building. The agenda would commence at 3 p.m. WIB.

“(The zakat payment) at the State Palace, that’s around 3 p.m. WIB,” he said.
