Prabowo to Distribute 62,000 Subsidised Housing Units in Batang
BP Tapera is organising a mass signing event for the Sejahtera FLPP (Housing Financing Liquidity Facility) mortgage and KUR Perumahan scheme worth IDR 880 billion. The event is scheduled for 30 July 2026 at Puri Delta City Side housing complex in Batang Regency, Central Java, and is expected to be attended by President Prabowo Subianto.
The mass subsidised mortgage signing will involve 62,000 prospective FLPP debtors spread across more than 100 locations in 36 provinces, involving 36 partner banks of BP Tapera. Of these, 200 prospective debtors will be present in person to sign the contract, while the remaining 61,800 will participate online. The prospective debtors attending in person come from 10 FLPP partner banks.
For the KUR Perumahan mass signing, the total number of participants is 7,100 debtors, comprising 6,873 on the demand side and 227 on the supply side, with 200 debtors attending in person. From each category, 10 participants will symbolically receive keys from the President. The beneficiaries come from various professions, including those with fixed and non-fixed incomes, such as online motorcycle taxi drivers, religious leaders, domestic workers, teachers, nurses, TNI/Polri members, and herbal medicine sellers.
BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho stated that the government’s attention to the housing finance sector is substantial, as demonstrated by the President’s attendance at previous mass signing events in Cileungsi, West Java (26,000 units) and Serang, Banten (50,030 units). ‘This is proof that the government is paying attention to providing first homes for the public, especially low-income communities,’ he concluded.
