Prabowo to Deliver Speech at DPR Plenary Session Tomorrow

President Prabowo Subianto will attend the DPR plenary meeting to speak on the macroeconomic framework and the main points of the fiscal policy for the 2027 RAPBN. ‘The plan is as such. So for the delivery of the macroeconomic framework, as well as the main points of fiscal policy to be delivered directly by the president,’ said Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Saan Mustopa, at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday 19 May. According to the agenda, the plenary is scheduled to begin at 09:00 WIB. Prabowo is expected to speak for 45 minutes, presenting the macroeconomic framework and the main points of the 2027 RAPBN fiscal policy. In addition to the president’s speech, the plenary will also designate the Police Bill (RUU Polri) as an initiative of Commission III of the DPR. Saan said the president’s direct attendance at a DPR plenary would be a first; previously the president had only attended the annual session held ahead of Independence Day on 17 August. ‘Yes, as far as I know, it is [a first],’ said Saan.
