Prabowo to Deliver Live Speech as 451 DPR Members Attend Plenary Session

DPR held its 19th plenary session of the fifth session year of the 2025-2026 legislative year. The plenary was attended by 451 members of the Council. The plenary was held at the Nusantara Building, the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 20 May 2026. The plenary was chaired by DPR Speaker Puan Maharani, with Vice Speakers Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Saan Mustopa, and Sari Yuliati also in attendance. President Prabowo Subianto, who will articulate the government’s views on macroeconomics and fiscal policy, arrived at the DPR. Prabowo arrived with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. At the opening of the session, Puan read the number of DPR members present in the plenary chamber. Puan said the forum quota had been met, and the session was open to the public.
