Prabowo to Convene All Ministers This Afternoon to Deliver Briefing

President Prabowo Subianto has called all ministers and deputy ministers to the Presidential Palace in Jakarta this afternoon. Prabowo will deliver a briefing.

“Yes, that’s correct, it will be at 2:00 PM WIB at the Palace,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya to reporters on Wednesday (8/4/2026).

Teddy stated that the briefing will be attended by echelon officials from ministries and agencies. He mentioned that CEOs of state-owned enterprises will also be present.

“The President is gathering all members of the Merah Putih Cabinet along with all Echelon I officials from ministries and agencies, all directors general/deputies, as well as the CEOs of state-owned enterprises,” he said.

It is known that Prabowo had previously stated he would give a briefing to all Indonesian society. The briefing is to explain the current turbulent geopolitical conditions.

This was conveyed by Prabowo during the inauguration of 218 bridges across Indonesia, including in remote areas, which was held virtually as quoted, on Tuesday (10/3). Prabowo urged the public to prepare for difficulties due to escalations, including conflicts in the Middle East.

“Due to the war in the Middle East, we must be prepared to face difficulties. But once again, we are grateful that the Indonesian nation actually has strength. We have great strength,” said Prabowo.
