Prabowo: This Month I Will Inaugurate the Marsinah Museum
We have elevated Mother Marsinah as a national hero, and this month I will also travel to Nglundo Village, Nganjuk, East Java, to inaugurate the workers’ struggle memorial named the Marsinah Museum,” said Prabowo in his speech at the May Day event at Monas on Friday (1/5/2026).
Prabowo stated that over the past year, the government has implemented several pro-people policies, particularly for workers.
“I believe that in this one year, you can assess the policies taken by the government I lead as policies that defend all Indonesian people, especially the working class,” he said.
Prabowo also conveyed his thanks for the invitation to attend today’s labour event. He felt honoured to gather with the labour group.
“Brothers and sisters, today is the day of the workers’ struggle. Brothers and sisters, I thank you for inviting me to be present today with all of you; this is an honour for me,” he added.
