Prabowo Thanks Police Chief for Ongoing Organisational Reforms

President Prabowo Subianto expressed his appreciation to the Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, during the commemoration of the 80th Bhayangkara Day. Prabowo highlighted the ongoing efforts of the National Police to reform and enhance professionalism.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the Chief of Police and his entire ranks who continue to carry out organisational reforms, increase professionalism, improve discipline, strengthen public services, and build synergy with all components of the nation,” said Prabowo at the Brimob Police Training Centre (Satlat) in Cikeas, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (30/06/2026).

Prabowo urged the National Police to uphold honour and protect the Indonesian nation and its people. At the conclusion of his speech, Prabowo once again extended his congratulations on the 80th Bhayangkara Day to the National Police.

“Uphold the honour of the Indonesian National Police and, most importantly, protect the nation and the people of Indonesia,” said Prabowo.

“Long live the 80th anniversary of the Indonesian National Police. Polri for the people, Polri Presisi for a progressive Indonesia, always with the people, always guarding Indonesia. Polri stands at the forefront as the Bhayangkara of the Indonesian nation,” he added.

Prabowo attended the event accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The 80th Bhayangkara Day ceremony was attended by the Commander of the TNI, General Agus Subiyanto, members of the Red and White Cabinet, and former Police Chiefs. Ambassadors from friendly nations, foreign police attachés, and leaders of mass organisations and religious organisations were also in attendance.
