Prabowo Thanks All Parties for Smooth 2026 Hajj Pilgrimage

President Prabowo Subianto has expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all parties who contributed to the organisation of the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage. The statement was conveyed by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi following an evaluation meeting on the Hajj implementation.

“The President, personally and on behalf of the government as Head of Government and Head of State, thanked all ranks of the Ministry of Hajj, the Deputy Minister of Hajj and all staff, and also thanked the leadership of the DPR RI and the leadership of Commission VIII for the smooth implementation of this year’s Hajj,” Pras said in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (17/6/2026).

Prabowo also expressed his appreciation to the Hajj officers who carried out their duties with full discipline and high dedication. The officers were praised for their spirited efforts to provide the best service to the pilgrims.

“He also wishes to thank all officers, approximately 2,000 Hajj officers, who carried out their duties with full discipline, dedication, and enthusiasm to ensure the best service for all pilgrims,” Pras continued.

Beyond the officers, the success of the 2026 Hajj could not have been achieved without the cooperation of all Indonesian pilgrims. Prabowo prayed that all pilgrims would receive blessings from the worship they performed and attain a mabrur Hajj.

“He also stated that this success was inseparable from the cooperation of all our pilgrims, and he prays that everyone becomes a Hajj who achieves mabrur,” Pras said.
