Prabowo Summons Transport Minister Dudy to the Palace: What’s Afoot?

President Prabowo Subianto summoned Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi to the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Thursday, 11 June 2026. Dudy explained that President Prabowo had requested a progress report on the programmes and work currently being undertaken by the Ministry of Transportation. “This is just it; he (the president) asked about the progress of several matters related to the Ministry of Transportation,” Dudy told reporters. When asked about what he had prepared for the meeting with Prabowo, he explained that all the necessary materials had been readied. “Everything,” he stated. Dudy also explained that his team had prepared materials regarding the evaluation of the upper limit on airfares, should Prabowo request it. “That depends on whether he gives the go-ahead. I mean, we’ve prepared it in case he asks,” concluded Dudy.
