Prabowo Summons Police Chief Listyo to Hambalang to Discuss Security and MBG

President Prabowo Subianto summoned the Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to his residence in Hambalang, Bogor, on Friday (24/4/2026). The approximately one-hour meeting addressed various strategic issues, ranging from national security to the general national situation across multiple sectors. Citing a statement from Instagram @sekretariat.kabinet, the Police Chief reported developments in several of Polri’s priority programmes. One key focus was strengthening digital transformation in public services to improve efficiency and transparency for the public. “In the approximately one-hour meeting, several matters related to national security and the general national situation across various strategic sectors were discussed,” stated @sekretariat.kabinet. Additionally, Listyo reported efforts to continuously enhance public security and order, involving all elements of society. The meeting also discussed synergies between Polri and various related institutions and sectors to strengthen national programmes, including in agriculture, food, nutritious meals, rapid disaster response, and improvements in public services.
