The president requested a report on Polri’s strategic programs, including the ongoing transformation within the institution.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said when contacted on Friday that the private one-on-one meeting lasted approximately one hour.

“President Prabowo Subianto summoned Polri Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to the Hambalang residence on Friday, April 24, 2026. During the one-hour meeting, they discussed several issues related to national security and the general situation across various strategic sectors,” he explained.

During the meeting, Listyo briefed the president on several strategic police programs.

These include strengthening the digital transformation of public services, enhancing personnel professionalism from recruitment through active service, and ongoing efforts to maintain public order by involving all elements of society.

The police chief also reported on the synergy between the police and various institutions to support national programs, covering the agricultural and food sectors, the Free Nutritious Meals program, rapid disaster response, and public service improvement.

On the same day, President Prabowo also summoned Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Perkasa Roeslani for a one-on-one meeting at his Hambalang residence.

During the meeting, Roeslani reported on the progress of downstreaming projects to be developed across 13 locations in Indonesia.

The president directed that downstreaming efforts must be expanded to target not only the energy and mineral sectors but also agriculture and fisheries.
