Prabowo Summons Pancasila Day Ceremony Commander: What's the Reason?

President Prabowo Subianto summoned Infantry Colonel Didin Nasrudin Darsono, commander of the Pancasila Day ceremony, to report to him following his duties. ‘Thank you for the successful execution of the ceremony. The ceremony commander reported to me,’ Prabowo said after receiving the report before the formation was disbanded on Monday, 1 June 2026. Didin was summoned as the president deemed him to have successfully carried out his duties at the Pancasila Building, part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs complex, earlier that morning. Prabowo served as the inspector for the ceremony, receiving reports from the commander during the event. One of the key messages emphasized was regarding the Pancasila economy. According to him, the Pancasila economy aims for the prosperity of the people. Its growth must not merely produce statistical figures on paper. ‘Economic development must not only yield statistical figures. Economic development must result in a better life for all Indonesian citizens,’ Prabowo stressed. In addition to summoning the commander, Prabowo also took time to converse with VIP guests in attendance. He was seen speaking with former Vice Presidents Jusuf Kalla (10th and 12th) and Ma’ruf Amin (13th). He also appeared friendly with the 5th President and Chairman of the Pancasila Ideology Development Body (BPIP), Megawati Soekarnoputri.
