Prabowo Summons Ministers to Kertanegara to Discuss Surge in Foreign Investment
President Prabowo Subianto summoned several ministers of the Red and White Cabinet to his residence in Kertanegara, Jakarta, on Sunday (14/6) to discuss a significant report on the high level of foreign investment interest entering Indonesia. The meeting followed up on the results of working visits to various countries that showed an increase in international confidence in national economic stability. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya confirmed that the meeting focused on evaluating the results of the Investment and Downstreaming Minister’s working visits to the United States, Europe, and Asia. The report received by the President showed valid facts and data regarding capital flows entering various strategic sectors. “The report shows valid facts and data on the increasing confidence of the international community in Indonesia, which is reflected in the high interest and entry of investment into various national strategic sectors,” said Teddy Indra Wijaya in an official statement. Responding to the positive report, President Prabowo instructed the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, Rosan Roeslani, to present the investment data transparently to the public.
