Prabowo Summons Ministers to Discuss Investment Growth
President Prabowo Subianto summoned several cabinet ministers to his residence in Kertanegara, Jakarta, on Sunday (14/6/2026) to discuss the development of strategic national investment. The meeting was called to receive reports on the results of overseas working visits that indicated an increase in international confidence in the Indonesian economy.
Officials present at the meeting included Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, and Head of the BUMN Regulatory Body Dony Oskaria. The Cabinet Secretariat provided official confirmation of the list of officials who gathered at the President’s residence via a statement on their official Instagram account.
“The meeting was attended by, among others, the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, the Head of the BUMN Regulatory Body, the Minister of State Secretary, and the Cabinet Secretary,” read the statement from the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram.
During the meeting, Rosan Roeslani presented the results of his working visits to the United States, as well as several countries in Europe and Asia, to President Prabowo. The report recorded valid data on the surge in foreign investor interest in various strategic sectors of the country.
“The report shows facts and valid data on the increasing confidence of the international community in Indonesia, which is reflected in the high interest and influx of investment into various national strategic sectors,” the statement continued.
President Prabowo then instructed that the positive achievement data be immediately disclosed to the wider public. This step was taken as a form of transparency and accountability for the government’s performance.
“The President also ordered the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, Rosan Roeslani, to convey this positive data to the public openly tomorrow afternoon, Monday, 15 June 2026, at the Merdeka Palace, as part of the government’s commitment to presenting complete and fact-based information to the public,” it clarified.
