Prabowo Summons Luhut, Chatib Basri, and Mari Elka to Hambalang

President Prabowo Subianto received the Chairman of the National Economic Council (DEN), Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, along with members of the council at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday evening, 14 July 2026. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that during the meeting, the DEN reported on the latest developments in the national economy and presented a number of strategic recommendations for strengthening the Indonesian economy in the face of global dynamics. Teddy added that the DEN also reported on the progress of refining GovTech as part of efforts to accelerate the digital transformation of government. He explained that the improvement of digital-based government services is aimed at enhancing data accuracy and ensuring that various government programmes reach those who are truly entitled to them, thereby minimising targeting errors, strengthening the effectiveness of aid distribution, and realising increasingly modern, efficient, and transparent governance. The meeting was also attended by Minister for State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini, Minister for National Development Planning Rachmat Pambudy, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and DEN members Mari Elka Pangestu, Chatib Basri, Firman Hidayat, Tubagus Nugraha, and Pantro Pander Silitonga, as well as Special Assistants to the President Dirgayuza Setiawan and Agung Gumilar.
