Prabowo Summons Dudung to the Palace, What Will They Discuss?

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto summoned his Special Presidential Advisor on National Defence Affairs, Dudung Abdurachman, to the Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

Based on observations by Kompas.com, Dudung arrived at the Palace complex around 2:30 PM Western Indonesia Time, wearing a white shirt.

“Last night, I was called by the aide that I was to meet the President at 3 PM today,” said Dudung at the Palace complex in Jakarta.

However, Dudung claimed he did not yet know the reason Prabowo had summoned him.

“I don’t know yet; as the Presidential Advisor, there might be matters on which he seeks advice or input. He usually likes to ask for advice and input from us as advisors,” he stated.

Dudung also plans to convey some inputs to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, but he declined to disclose them to the public.

“Well, I’ll convey that to him later. After I return, then I’ll share it,” he said.

Dudung also mentioned that they might discuss the geopolitical situation in the Middle East.

“Yes, yes, that’s about it (Middle East geopolitics),” Dudung remarked.
