Prabowo Summons Commanders of 81st Independence Day Flag-Lowering Ceremony
President Prabowo Subianto asked the parade commander, the corps of music (korsik) commander, and all unit commanders who served in the Flag-Lowering Ceremony of the Red and White for the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence to report to him at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday afternoon (17/8). A number of commanders who served in the ceremony can be identified from the official list of personnel, ranging from Police Senior Commissioner Jerrold Hendra Yosef Kumontoy to Captain Bagus Setianto.
The request was made by Prabowo after receiving a report that the series of the Red and White Flag-Lowering Ceremony had been completed. The President had also previously expressed appreciation for the orderly and solemn conduct of the ceremony.
“Parade commander, corps of music commander, and all unit commanders, report to me, continue, carry on,” said Prabowo.
Based on official information from the State Secretariat and the composition of the Indonesia Adil Makmur Paskibraka Team, the following are a number of commanders who served at the 81st Indonesian Independence Day Flag-Lowering Ceremony:
Jerrold served as the Commander of the Red and White Flag-Lowering Ceremony. The middle-ranking National Police officer currently serves as the Balikpapan City Police Chief, East Kalimantan Regional Police.
Jerrold was the commander who delivered reports directly to President Prabowo as the ceremony inspector before and after the ceremony.
Bagus Setianto was entrusted as the Commander of the Paskibraka Company in the “Indonesia Adil Makmur” Team that served at the flag-lowering ceremony. He is the Head of Operations for Flight Squadron 5, Wing 5, Sultan Hasanuddin Air Base.
Baruno Wicaksono served as the Commander of Group 17 of Paskibraka. He is a Paskibraka member from West Java who attends Taruna Nusantara Senior High School, Cimahi Campus.
Atanasius Meyllano Frans Yogar was entrusted as the Commander of Group 8 of Paskibraka. The Paskibraka member from East Nusa Tenggara is recorded as a student at Giovanni Catholic Senior High School in Kupang.
