Prabowo Summons Airlangga, Purbaya to Palace This Afternoon

President Prabowo Subianto has summoned several of his aides in the Merah Putih Cabinet to the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, 7 April 2026. Several officials seen attending include Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto; Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa; Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono; Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman; and Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto. There is also the Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN) Dony Oskaria up to Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo. Minister of Education Brian Yuliarto admitted he does not yet know the discussion in this limited meeting. “It might be a general economic evaluation,” said Brian on Tuesday afternoon. In agreement, Finance Minister Purbaya also stated he does not know what will be discussed with the President. “I don’t know yet, the meeting just started,” said Purbaya. As of this report, those state officials are still attending the limited meeting with President Prabowo.
