Prabowo Summons Advisor Dudung Abdurachman to the Palace, What's Going On?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - President Prabowo Subianto summoned Special Presidential Advisor on National Defence Dudung Abdurachman to the State Palace on Tuesday (21/4/2026). Dudung arrived at the location around 2:30 PM WIB. Dudung claimed he was asked to meet Prabowo that afternoon to discuss several strategic issues, both national and international. “Oh, last night I was called by the aide that I would meet the President at 3 PM today,” said Dudung to reporters. Although he was not yet willing to reveal the issues to be discussed with the president. “Oh, I don’t know yet. As a Presidential Advisor, there might be things he wants advice and input on. He usually likes to ask for advice and input from us as advisors,” said Dudung. When asked about other parties attending the meeting, according to him, only he as an advisor was invited. “As far as I know, the advisor is just me,” he said.
