Prabowo stresses TNI must adapt to global geopolitical dynamics

Jakarta (ANTARA) – President Prabowo Subianto, addressing 1,000 TNI and Polri officer cadets at the Army Staff and Command School (Seskoad) in Bandung, West Java, on Monday, stressed the importance of TNI personnel adapting to global geopolitical dynamics. “The key takeaway is that we must be able to adapt. Adapt to developments. We know geopolitical dynamics are changing extremely rapidly. As TNI officers, we must be able to adapt,” said Major Cke Amarullah from Syndicate 08 Dikreg LXVII Seskoad after attending President Prabowo’s briefing, quoted from the Indonesian Communication Bureau press release in Jakarta. According to Amarullah, President Prabowo’s guidance focused on preparing TNI officers to respond to rapidly evolving and complex global strategic environments. He stated that adaptability is crucial for officers to address national defence challenges amid ongoing geopolitical shifts. Amarullah added that the President also stressed the need to update TNI doctrine to remain relevant with the times and future strategic requirements. “Therefore, there were directives from the President for the TNI to update its doctrines to align with evolving times,” he explained. On the occasion, Amarullah also expressed hopes for President Prabowo’s continued health and strength in fulfilling his aspirations for the Indonesian nation. “As cadets and TNI officers, we first pray for the President’s health and strength, as we see his noble aspirations for the Indonesian nation,” he said. He affirmed the TNI’s full support for the President’s vision and the commitment of young officers to address the challenges presented. “As TNI personnel, we will fully support this. We hope to implement it to the best of our ability in the future,” Amarullah said.
