President Prabowo Subianto has emphasised that cooperatives are a pillar of the national economy. He stated that the Indonesian government’s efforts to strengthen cooperatives will not weaken other economic elements.

“If we strengthen cooperatives, it does not mean we will weaken others. No!” Prabowo declared at the peak event for National Cooperatives Day at the Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, on Sunday.

Prabowo expressed his belief that Indonesia can grow strong on all fronts. He is confident that the nation can rise and become self-reliant.

“We strengthen, Indonesia is rich, Indonesia will rise, and Indonesia will be able to reinforce all powers within this Republic,” Prabowo asserted.

Furthermore, Prabowo took a swipe at those who remain doubtful about the nation’s future. He even suggested that those who view Indonesia’s future as bleak are welcome to find another country to live in.

“Those who are doubtful, just sit at home. Those who feel Indonesia is bleak, please go ahead and look for another country, no one is stopping you,” Prabowo said.
