President Prabowo Subianto has stated that there are some people in Indonesia who are hoping for the nation to collapse. He made the remarks while attending the launch ceremony for the mandatory B50 biodiesel programme at KM 57 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road in Karawang, West Java, on Thursday. In his speech, Prabowo revealed that many countries are envious of and dislike Indonesia at present. “We never hate anyone, but the reality is many are envious and resentful, they want to mess with us, badmouth us, campaigning on social media that Indonesia is chaotic, Indonesia is bleak, Indonesia is dark, that it will collapse, they hope it collapses. Imagine, our own people hoping for a collapse,” he said. Therefore, Prabowo reminded everyone that such threats must be watched out for. Furthermore, the head of state assessed that today is a day full of pride and will be remembered, because Indonesia is the first country in the world to implement a mandatory B50 biodiesel programme.
