Prabowo Signs Ride-Hailing Regulation: Platform Cut 8%, Drivers Get 92%!

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - President Prabowo Subianto has signed Presidential Regulation No. 27 of 2026 on the Protection of Online Transportation Workers. One of the key points in the regulation is the revenue sharing between platforms and drivers.

“I have signed Presidential Regulation No. 27 on the Protection of Online Transportation Workers. As I mentioned earlier, they must be provided with work accident guarantees, BPJS Health, and health insurance,” said Prabowo.

“Also, as discussed, the revenue share for drivers, previously 80%, is now a minimum of 92% for drivers,” continued the Chairman of the Great Indonesia Movement Party.

Prabowo also revealed that he has signed Presidential Regulation No. 25 of 2026 on the Ratification of ILO Convention No. 188 to ensure protection and welfare for fishing vessel crew.

“And we will inaugurate 1,386 fishing villages. For the first time in the history of the Republic of Indonesia, fishermen are being properly managed,” said Prabowo.
