Prabowo Sets 8 National Priority Clusters for 2027

President Prabowo Subianto has established eight National Priority Work Programme (PKPN) clusters for 2027 within the Draft State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBN). The eight priority projects include food sovereignty, energy and water independence, education, health, downstreaming and industrialisation, housing infrastructure and disaster resilience, a people’s and village economy, and poverty reduction. “These eight priorities are supported by strengthening defence and security, law enforcement, governance, accelerating digitalisation, and economic diplomacy,” Prabowo stated during his speech at the DPR Plenary Meeting for the Submission of the 2027 Fiscal Year State Budget Bill at the Nusantara Building, Senayan Parliament Complex, Central Jakarta, on Friday (14/8/2026). To execute the entire agenda, state expenditure for 2027 is planned at Rp 4,097.2 trillion, an increase from Rp 3,842.7 trillion in the 2026 State Budget. State revenue is estimated to reach Rp 3,426.0 trillion, up from Rp 3,153.6 trillion in the 2026 State Budget. “Financing is planned at Rp 671.2 trillion, with a deficit of 2.40 per cent of Gross Domestic Product. This deficit figure is down from the financing plan in the 2026 State Budget, which was Rp 689.1 trillion, with a deficit of 2.68 per cent of Gross Domestic Product,” Prabowo explained. Economic growth for 2027 is targeted to reach 6 per cent, higher than the 2026 State Budget target of 5.4 per cent.
