President Prabowo Subianto has requested prayers and support from Islamic scholars and religious leaders to enable his administration to fulfil its mandate to protect the people and confront various national challenges. Prabowo believes that through unity and hard work, Indonesia can overcome difficulties whilst upholding truth and justice.

Prabowo made these remarks during the Nuzulul Quran event at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, 10 March 2026. He initially expressed gratitude to the scholars who continuously participate in state events and provide guidance on his presidential duties.

“I am grateful, I offer my thanks—on this blessed evening I continue to receive lessons, warnings, and renewed spirit. I am grateful to the preachers who have been willing to attend and continuously provide me with enlightenment regarding my duties,” Prabowo said.

Prabowo expressed appreciation to the Islamic scholars, religious teachers, and community leaders for their ongoing support and advice to his administration. He asked them to continue offering prayers and support so his government can function and address the nation’s various challenges.

“I am grateful to the Islamic scholars, the religious teachers, and the community leaders. Let us unite, let us work hard, let us secure and save all our people. I ask for your continued prayers, I ask for your support, we will succeed. We will prevail, we will overcome all difficulties,” he stated.

Furthermore, Prabowo reaffirmed his commitment to eliminating those who have been damaging the nation’s economy. He stressed that the government will not hesitate to confront and take action against practices that harm the public.

“We will eliminate those who have damaged our economy. We will eradicate them, we will confront them, and we will implement and uphold truth and justice,” he said.
