Prabowo Scheduled to Visit Nagekeo Earthquake Evacuees Tomorrow

President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to visit earthquake evacuees in Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), tomorrow. Prabowo is confirmed to arrive in Nagekeo on Wednesday (26/8/2026).

The confirmation was delivered by the Deputy Regent of Nagekeo, Gonzalo Gratianus Muga Sada. According to him, all preparations to welcome the President’s arrival have been completed.

“Everything is in a ready position. There is nothing else but the President arriving tomorrow,” said Gonzalo on Tuesday (25/8/2026).

Gonzalo, who also serves as Chair of the Task Force and Commander of the Emergency Response Post for the Nagekeo Earthquake Disaster, explained that Prabowo will arrive using three helicopters and land at Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo.

However, Gonzalo has not yet received the itinerary for Prabowo’s visit. He said the itinerary is part of the Presidential Palace’s standard operating procedure and therefore cannot be circulated.

“Including myself as the post commander, I have not received it yet. I asked but it has not been given, so I respect the standard of the Presidential Palace,” Gonzalo explained.

Gonzalo said the focus of Prabowo’s visit remains on the evacuation post at Lapangan Berdikari Danga and RSUD Aeramo. However, there have been changes to several points that will be visited.

“What has been explained is only the visit to the evacuation post because there is already a package of activities to see the post, the public kitchen, and the library, and RSUD Aeramo,” Gonzalo explained.
