Prabowo Scheduled to Visit Lampung Today
President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to visit Lampung Province today, Wednesday, 10 June 2026. Prabowo plans to inspect the construction of a Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Krui, West Pesisir Regency. The event was announced by Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin after meeting Prabowo at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday evening, 9 June 2026. Prabowo, Budi said, invited him to go to Lampung. “For the hospital inauguration,” said Budi. Besides reviewing the RSUD in Krui, Prabowo is invited to attend the 18th National Conference of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) in 2026. This agenda is listed on the official website of the Lampung Provincial Government. During the Tuesday evening meeting, Budi reported on the progress of three priority programmes, or quick wins, of Prabowo in the health sector. The three programmes are free health checks (CKG), tuberculosis (TB) management, and the acceleration of the construction of 66 hospitals in disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) areas. In a written statement a day later, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said Budi reported to President Prabowo regarding the progress of the Best Quick Results Programme (PHTC) or quick win, as well as other flagship programmes in the health sector that are already accessible to the public. According to Teddy, the first quick win programme reported by Budi was CKG. This programme has been implemented for more than 70 million residents in 2025. Meanwhile, this year, CKG has reached more than 42.3 million participants across 38 provinces. The second report, Teddy said, was concerning tuberculosis (TBC) control. Teddy conveyed that the estimated tuberculosis cases in Indonesia in 2026 decreased from 1.09 million to 1.08 million, in line with increasingly aggressive case detection in the community. In addition, Budi Gunadi explained the achievements of the quick win programme for improving service quality at 66 regional hospitals in disadvantaged, outermost, and frontier areas. These RSUDs are being upgraded from Class D to Class C with more complete services. Teddy mentioned that in 2025, 20 out of 22 RSUDs had been completed, with 10 of them already operational. Meanwhile, in 2026, four out of 20 RSUDs have commenced construction. “In 2027, there are still 24 RSUDs in the planning stage,” said Teddy. Health Minister Budi, he said, also reported on other flagship programmes that include the distribution of 905 main medical devices to 258 regencies/cities. “These main devices consist of Cathlab, CT Scan, Mammography, MRI and Linac,” Teddy stated.
