Prabowo Scheduled to Perform Eid Prayer in Aceh Followed by Open House at the Palace

President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to perform the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H prayer in Aceh on Saturday morning (21/3). Subsequently, he will hold an open house at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya revealed President Prabowo’s agenda during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H celebrations.

“The President will attend takbiran in North Sumatra tonight and, God willing, perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer in Aceh tomorrow morning,” said Teddy in his statement on Friday (20/3).

On the same day, Prabowo is said to depart for Jakarta to organise an open house at the Presidential Palace.

Teddy stated that the open house is likely to be held in the afternoon.

“Then, possibly at the Palace in the afternoon, we are preparing halal bihalal and silaturahmi for all members of the public who wish to visit,” said Teddy as reported by detik.

The open house is open to the entire public, as in previous years. The doors of the Presidential Palace will be open to anyone from afternoon until evening.

Teddy added that the Palace will treat the public to typical Lebaran dishes, including ketupat.

Meanwhile, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka is scheduled to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta.
