VLADIVOSTOK, Aktualita.co - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Vladivostok on Thursday (3/9/2026), on the sidelines of the 11th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). The meeting between the two heads of state is planned to take/take place in a business breakfast format before the main proceedings of the economic forum.
The agenda for the meeting between Prabowo and Putin was previously confirmed by Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov. The Kremlin has included the meeting with the Indonesian President as one of Putin’s international engagements during his stay in Vladivostok.
The meeting is drawing significant attention as it occurs only a few months after Prabowo and Putin held lengthy discussions at the Kremlin in Moscow in April 2026. The President’s arrival was received by the Vice Governor of the Primorye Region, Said Yusupov, the Minister of Foreign Relations of Vladivostok, Konstantin Sidorenko, and several Indonesian officials in Russia.
