President Prabowo Subianto has revealed that ministers in the Red and White Cabinet have been working extremely hard to resolve the nation’s problems. In fact, Prabowo said, some of them have ended up in hospital and even required surgery. This was conveyed by Prabowo during his state address at the 2026 Annual Session of the MPR and the Joint Session of the DPD and DPR RI at the Parliament Complex in Senayan on Friday (14/8/2026). Initially, Prabowo stated that he had decided upon and implemented 121 transformative policies to solve the country’s problems in the 21 months and 663 days of his tenure. “In 21 months, precisely 663 days to this day, the government I lead has decided upon and implemented 121 transformative policies to solve the country’s problems,” he said. Prabowo mentioned that some of these problems had remained unsolved for decades. This means, Prabowo said, his government has decided on one transformative policy every five days. “Some of these problems have been unresolved for decades. This means we can say that we have decided on one transformative policy every five days,” he said. Prabowo stated that the national problems that have been addressed are inseparable from the hard work of the ministers. It was at this point that Prabowo revealed some of his ministers had been hospitalised and even operated on due to exhaustion. “So hard have my ministers and my aides worked. Some of them were forced to enter hospital, some collapsed, some had surgery, many were exhausted,” he revealed. “I promised them that in the remainder of my term, I will give them more time to rest,” he added. On this occasion, Prabowo also read out the four guiding principles of the Red and White Cabinet: 1. Work to uphold and implement the mandates of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. 2. Safeguard, execute, and protect the core and vital national interests, including protecting the wealth of the Indonesian nation. 3. Overcome the people’s difficulties in the shortest possible time. 4. Be oriented towards the interests of the people, their children, and their grandchildren.
