Prabowo Says Many PKH Task Force Members Are Threatened and Intimidated
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto stated that not a few members of the Forest Area Control Task Force (Satgas PKH) have been intimidated and threatened while carrying out their duties.
“Because a President has many eyes and ears. I understand that many PKH task force members are being threatened. Some are also being intimidated and so on,” said Prabowo at the Office of the Attorney General (Kejagung) of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta, on Friday (10/4/2026).
Therefore, Prabowo expressed his appreciation to all members of the Satgas PKH for their dedication and sacrifices.
He assessed that the tasks they carry out are not easy, considering the vastness of Indonesia’s territory as well as the challenges in conducting direct inspections and supervision in the field.
However, he acknowledged that there are still rogue elements in the bureaucracy and state institutions who abuse their authority to assist parties that harm the state finances.
“That is why I appreciate your work. You are among those who still have a great sense of responsibility to the state, the nation, and our people,” he said.
