Prabowo Salutes Jokowi at 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary Event
President Prabowo Subianto gave a salute to the 7th President Jokowi while attending the Bhayangkara Anniversary ceremony at the Brimob Training Centre in Cikeas, West Java, on Wednesday (1/7). Upon arriving at the venue, Prabowo shook hands with each of the invited guests in turn. When he was about to greet Jokowi, Prabowo first rendered a salute before shaking his hand. Also in attendance were House Speaker Puan Maharani, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla, and members of the Red and White Cabinet. During the ceremony, Prabowo acted as the Inspector of the Ceremony. He also conducted a troop inspection alongside National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo from atop a Maung tactical vehicle. The National Police held the peak celebration of the 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary at the Brimob Training Centre in Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (1/7). The event featured a parade, the conferment of honours, demonstrations, a march-past, and a thanksgiving ceremony. Additionally, there was an exhibition of the National Police’s domestically produced primary and special equipment, as well as the distribution of social assistance to the community. A total of 9,000 participants were involved in the peak celebration of the 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary, comprising personnel from the National Police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces, and community elements.
