Prabowo Reveals Latest Condition of Victims Injured in Argo Bromo Train Accident vs KRL

President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto visited the victims of the train accident involving the Argo Bromo Anggrek and a KRL at Bekasi Timur Station. Prabowo stated that some of the injured victims have already been discharged and have been well-treated.

“Some have already gone home,” said Prabowo at Bekasi City Hospital, Bekasi, West Java, on Tuesday (28/4/2026).

Prabowo stated that the injured victims have been well-treated, with some already discharged and others still receiving care. He mentioned that compensation will be provided to the victims.

“If I’m not mistaken, there are around a total of 60, 54, and almost all of them have been treated as far as I can see, treated well. Some have been sent back, some have been taken care of. Basically, everything has been handled. There will be compensation for all of them,” he said.

It is known that President Prabowo Subianto visited Bekasi City Hospital this morning to see the victims of the train accident involving the Argo Bromo and a KRL at Bekasi Timur Station. Prabowo immediately entered the hospital.

Observations by detikcom on Tuesday (28/4/2026) showed that Prabowo arrived around 08:39 WIB. Prabowo was accompanied by Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet Prasetyo Hadi and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. Also present was Bekasi Mayor Tri Adhianto Tjahyono.

KAI stated that seven passengers died in the train accident incident involving a long-distance train and a KRL at Bekasi Timur Station. In total, there were 81 injured victims receiving treatment at the hospital.
