Prabowo reveals his 'commanding science' to boost performance
Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto revealed one of his leadership principles, which he calls ‘commanding science’, that can boost the morale of his team to improve performance.
In front of state officials at the inauguration of the Marsinah Museum in Nganjuk Regency, East Java, on Saturday, President Prabowo used the presence of TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo as examples of the application of ‘commanding science’.
‘I thank the TNI Commander and the TNI for their assistance. I also thank the National Police, the police have been extraordinary, supporting this process, corn, and warehouses, then hundreds of MBG kitchens, perhaps the best is the police now, the cleanest,’ said President Prabowo to the TNI Commander and National Police Chief during the event.
‘Indeed, the science of leadership is that if there are two subordinates, we must make them compete. So, if there is a TNI Commander, I praise the police. Later, if there is a National Police Chief, I praise the TNI. So, they understand, oh, that’s the commanding science. So, the ministers are also treated the same,’ continued President Prabowo, which was then met with laughter from a number of state officials.
In his speech during the inauguration of the Marsinah Museum, President Prabowo discussed a number of themes, including Marsinah as a national hero who represents the labor group, then the President again expressed his annoyance at several officials who abuse their positions and influence.
On the same occasion, President Prabowo also responded to the pessimistic attitude that had been directed at the government, especially those who said ‘Indonesia will collapse, will be in chaos’.
President Prabowo also responded to the dynamics of the Rupiah exchange rate against the dollar, which is currently weakening.
According to the President, the current domestic situation is fine, as shown by the sufficient supply of food and energy.
‘People in the villages don’t use dollars, right? Food is secure, energy is secure. Yes, many countries are panicking. Indonesia is still okay,’ said President Prabowo.
