Prabowo Reveals: Forest Area Enforcement Task Force Has Saved Rp52 Trillion in State Funds

President Prabowo Subianto has revealed a staggering figure regarding the achievements of the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force (Satgas PKH). Since its inception, the task force is reported to have saved state funds amounting to Rp52 trillion.

Prabowo disclosed this figure while personally witnessing the handover of enforcement proceeds from the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) and the Satgas PKH to the state treasury via the Ministry of Finance. The most recent transfer totalled Rp13,241,335,681,910.13, with the handover ceremony taking place at the Attorney General’s Office building in Jakarta on Tuesday (6/10/26).

“The total cash handed over has reached approximately Rp52 trillion. That is about 3 billion dollars that we have saved,” said Prabowo.

Prabowo expressed his appreciation for the work of the Satgas PKH, which was established on 21 January 2025 under Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 5 of 2025, to continue enforcing forest area regulations and safeguarding state finances.

However, Prabowo warned that this mission is not without its challenges. He alluded to the conflict between those choosing to uphold the law and those seeking to protect their own interests.

“Throughout human history, there will always be a conflict between those on the path of righteousness defending the truth, and those who wish to defend wrongdoing. We must understand that these challenges will always exist,” he stated.

Consequently, Prabowo urged Satgas PKH officers not to hesitate in performing their duties and to remain committed to the interests of the state.

“The choice lies within ourselves: whether we dare to choose the path of truth, or surrender to greedy forces—forces that are disloyal to this nation, forces that insult the people, and forces that work to ensure Indonesia remains poor, despite being a wealthy nation,” he added.

It was previously reported that funds amounting to Rp13.2 trillion, resulting from enforcement actions by the Attorney General’s Office and the Satgas PKH, were officially transferred to the state treasury. President Prabowo Subianto personally witnessed the handover during the event held at the Attorney General’s Office in Jakarta.

Attorney General ST Burhanuddin emphasised that the results of forest area enforcement must be transparently accountable and returned for the benefit of the state.
