Prabowo Returns Home After Visits to US, UK, Jordan and UAE
President Prabowo Subianto has returned to Indonesia on Friday, 27 February 2026, concluding a working visit to four countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates.
The presidential aircraft carrying Prabowo and a limited delegation arrived at Base Ops Halim Perdanakusuma in East Jakarta at approximately 08.50 WIB. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Armed Forces Commander General Agus Subiyanto were present to receive him. The officials briefly conversed before departing in motorcades.
Prabowo had commenced his working visit on 19 February, when he attended the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace and met with US business representatives. During this visit, Prabowo signed the Agreement of Reciprocal Trade with the United States.
From the US engagement, Prabowo secured multiple trade and investment commitments totalling US$38.4 billion across various sectors including agriculture, textiles, and the development of technology-based green industrial zones.
The President then travelled to the United Kingdom to witness the signing of a cooperation agreement between Danantara and ARM Limited. This partnership will see Indonesia send 15,000 engineers for training within the semiconductor ecosystem.
Following his UK visit, Prabowo and the limited delegation travelled to Jordan to meet with King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The two leaders discussed peace efforts in Gaza, Palestine.
Finally, the Gerindra Party Chairman visited Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where he met with President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss investment opportunities in Indonesia.
