President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, has returned home following a state visit to France. The aircraft carrying Prabowo landed at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta on Saturday, 30 May, at 09:50 WIB.

Prabowo was greeted by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Lieutenant General Tandyo Budi Revita.

Prabowo’s visit to France yielded significant achievements in strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and France. During the state visit, both countries reinforced cooperation in various strategic sectors, including the economy, investment, trade, and defence.

The launch of the business council generated four new commercial agreements worth US3.5billion(Rp61.25trillionatanexchangerateofRp17, 500perUS), focusing on energy security, trade, and defence cooperation.

In addition to official engagements, Prabowo met with the Indonesian diaspora in Paris, including participating in Eid al-Adha prayers with the community.

Prabowo’s return marks the conclusion of the state visit to France, reinforcing Indonesia’s commitment to expanding strategic partnerships with friendly nations to support national development and enhance its global standing.

Strengthening Economic Partnerships

Rosan said the forum was a significant milestone in strengthening economic cooperation between Indonesia and France and expanding mutually beneficial investment and trade opportunities.
