Prabowo Reshuffles Cabinet, Hasan Nasbi, Dudung, and Qodari Arrive at Palace

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto carried out a reshuffle of the Merah Putih Cabinet on Monday (27/4/2026). Based on observations by Kompas.com, several figures arrived at the Presidential Palace Complex to attend the inauguration as state officials. The figures present included Dudung Abdurachman, Special Advisor to the President of the Republic of Indonesia on National Defence Affairs; M Qodari, Head of the Presidential Staff; and Hanif Faisol, Minister of the Environment. Additionally, former Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi, former Minister of Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers Abdul Kadir Karding, and labour figure Jumhur Hidayat. When asked about the purpose of their arrival, they uniformly stated that they would be inaugurated by Prabowo, without knowing their positions. “Yes, there’s an inauguration. What kind of inauguration, I don’t know yet,” said Jumhur. “Yes, yesterday, earlier I was called by Lieutenant Colonel Teddy, the Deputy Cabinet Secretary, preparing to go to the Palace at 2:15 for rehearsal, at 3 for the inauguration. We’ll see what it is later,” said Dudung on a separate occasion.
