Prabowo Requests KSSK to Involve Danantara in Decision-Making

President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with officials from the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK) and the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) at the State Palace on Monday. During the meeting, the President requested that KSSK involve Danantara in its decision-making process.

BPI Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani stated that the coordination is intended to ensure that decisions are not made solely from fiscal and monetary standpoints, but also consider direct impacts on the economy. “The coordination… KSSK has been asked to involve Danantara in every decision, so that it has a direct impact on the economy and business, not just from the fiscal and monetary side. It’s more about the whole ecosystem. So the directive is for KSSK plus, plus Danantara,” Rosan said after the meeting.

Rosan also confirmed that Danantara will attend KSSK meetings on a monthly basis going forward. Today’s meeting marked the first time Danantara participated in a KSSK session. The meeting was attended by all KSSK members, including the acting Governor of Bank Indonesia, the Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, the Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and the Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), as well as Danantara’s COO. The Minister of Finance was also reported to have participated.
