President Prabowo Subianto has requested that the Indonesia Investment Authority (Danantara) be involved in the decision-making process of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK). Danantara CEO Rosan Perkasa Roeslani conveyed this after attending a meeting with President Prabowo and KSSK officials at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday, 27 July 2026.

The KSSK has historically comprised the Ministry of Finance, Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS). “KSSK has also been asked to involve Danantara in every decision-making process,” Rosan stated on Monday evening.

According to the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, Danantara’s involvement is intended to ensure that every KSSK policy has a direct impact on the economy and business activity. “Not just from the fiscal and monetary side. So it is more about the whole ecosystem. The directive is for KSSK plus, plus Danantara,” Rosan explained. He added that Prabowo’s request means Danantara will be involved in the KSSK coordination forum on a regular basis going forward. “The directive was indeed that (Danantara will attend KSSK meetings every month),” he said. Rosan noted that Danantara’s involvement in the KSSK is a policy being implemented for the first time.

Meanwhile, Bank Indonesia Acting Governor Destry Damayanti explained that President Prabowo requested that coordination between KSSK institutions and Danantara be continuously improved so that the policies of each institution are more aligned. “We discussed the President’s directive that those of us invited are KSSK, yes. KSSK plus Danantara. So the point is that going forward, KSSK must continue to enhance coordination and cooperation,” Destry stated. She said this synergy is aimed at supporting the implementation of government programmes. Each KSSK member, from the Ministry of Finance, BI, OJK, to LPS, has been asked to strengthen coordination according to their respective authorities. “Of course, we will also jointly provide support, with KSSK also supporting the government in line with the established policy direction,” she said.
