Prabowo reported to attend DPR Plenary Session on Thursday

Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto is reported to be attending the DPR RI Plenary Session, which will be held at the parliamentary complex in Jakarta on Thursday (1/10).

The Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the DPR RI and spokesperson for the Gerindra Party, Bahtra Banong, confirmed the information. However, he has not yet provided detailed information regarding the purpose of the President’s attendance at the meeting.

“Tomorrow, God willing, Mr Prabowo will attend the DPR if there are no obstacles,” said Bahtra when confirmed in Jakarta on Wednesday.

According to the invitation letter for the Plenary Session received by members of the DPR RI, the event is scheduled to begin at 09:30 WIB in the Plenary Meeting Room, Nusantara II Building.

The meeting features two main agendas: the determination of working partners for the North Java Coast Management Authority, followed by a decision-making process.

The subsequent agenda involves the approval of an extension for the discussion of the Draft Law on Industrial Design, followed by a decision-making process.

The Plenary Session is being convened based on the decision of the Consultative Meeting, replacing the Budget Committee Meeting between the leadership of the DPR RI and the leaders of the parliamentary factions, held on 28 September 2026.
