Prabowo Removes Dadan from Leadership; New National Nutrition Agency Structure Announced

The announcement regarding the removal of leadership was delivered by the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, accompanied by the Cabinet Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya, and the Head of the Bureau of Communication, M. Qodari, at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday (2/6/2026). Prasetyo stated that the decision was made by President Prabowo after conducting monitoring and performance evaluations of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) leaders.

‘On this Tuesday, 2 June 2026, the President has decided to implement a change in the leadership of the National Nutrition Agency. Firstly, Mr Dadan Hindayana as Head of the National Nutrition Agency; secondly, Mr Lodewyk Pusung as Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency; and thirdly, Mr Sony Sonjaya as Deputy Head of the National Discretionary Agency. This decision is accompanied by our gratitude for their hard work and dedication in building the foundations and developing the National Nutrition Agency,’ Prasetyo said during the press conference.

Prasetyo noted that the Head of the BGN is now led by Nanik S. Deyang, who previously served as the Deputy Head of the BGN. ‘We are appointing Ms Nanik S. Deyang as the new Head of the National Nutrition Agency,’ he continued.

In addition to Nanik, Agustina Arum Sari and Major General TNI Trenggono have also been appointed as the new Deputy Heads of the BGN.
