Prabowo Reminds Cabinet That Every Government Has Its Time

President Prabowo Subianto gathered his ministers for a plenary cabinet session on Monday, reminding them that every government has its time and every era has its leader. “Every time has its government, every government has its time, every time has its leader,” Prabowo said during the meeting of the Red and White Cabinet at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta. He acknowledged that many problems remain to be solved in Indonesia, citing low teacher salaries, a lack of job opportunities, and the persistence of extreme poverty. “We have been given a mandate by the people to face and solve these problems,” he stated. The plenary cabinet session was the first to be held in over four months, with the last such meeting taking place on 13 March 2026.
