Prabowo Receives Visit from Megawati Accompanied by Puan at the Palace

President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto received a visit from the fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri at Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (19/3/2026) afternoon WIB. Prabowo was accompanied by his son Ragowo Hediprasetyo Djojohadikusumo during the meeting with Megawati. Also present was the Chair of the DPR and daughter of Megawati, Puan Maharani. The Daily Chairman of the Gerindra DPP and Deputy Chair of the DPR Sufmi Dasco Ahmad also attended the meeting. “On the 29th day of the month of Ramadan ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H, I received the fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mrs Hj. Megawati Soekarnoputri, at Merdeka Palace. This meeting continues the tradition of maintaining close relations among the nation’s leaders,” said Prabowo via his Instagram account.
