Prabowo Receives Royal Thai Armed Forces Honour from PM Charnvirakul

The honorary award was presented during Prime Minister Charnvirakul’s state visit to the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday (3/8/2026). The honour consisted of a beret and pin from the Royal Thai Armed Forces, which President Prabowo received with deep appreciation. “On this occasion, I would also like to express my highest appreciation to His Excellency and the Royal Thai Government for the honour from the Royal Thai Armed Forces that will be bestowed upon me,” Prabowo stated. He noted that the award came as a surprise and viewed it as a symbol of the trust, friendship, mutual respect, and close relations between Indonesia and Thailand. Prime Minister Charnvirakul’s arrival at the Merdeka Palace was marked by a state welcoming ceremony.
