Prabowo receives results of Indonesian Ulama Ijtima Agreement

President Prabowo Subianto received the document containing the outcome of the Indonesian Ulema Assembly Agreement while attending the 28th anniversary celebration of the National Awakening Party (PKB) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) in Jakarta on Thursday evening.

“Today I received another gift. It is remarkable — the Indonesian Ulema Assembly Agreement was read out just now,” said Prabowo.

Prabowo said the agreement contains a commitment from Islamic scholars and Islamic boarding school leaders to support the continuity of national development under his administration.

The agreement also encourages the acceleration of industrialisation and downstream processing, as well as the strengthening of food and energy self-sufficiency, in line with the mandate of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

“This is another command, but the command is in accordance with my conscience,” said Prabowo.

“Last year I received a command, and this year I received a gift in the form of a command as well. Thank you,” Prabowo added.
