Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani reported investment realisation to President Prabowo Subianto. According to Rosan, in the first quarter of 2026—or investments over the first three months—it reached Rp 498.79 trillion. This figure has already exceeded the first quarter target of Rp 497 trillion. This achievement is also far greater than 7.22% compared to the same period in the previous year. “The investment realisation in 2026, as I reported earlier for the first quarter, alhamdulillah, achieved Rp 498.79 trillion or 100.36% of the Rp 497 trillion target, and that is a 7.22% year-on-year increase,” explained Rosan while reading a document in front of the media at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Tuesday (21/4/2026). From the total investment, it was also recorded that it has opened up employment for 706,569 Indonesians or grown 18.93% annually. The investment obtained from domestic investment (PMDN) is Rp 248.84 trillion or about 49.89% of the total investment realisation. The remainder, about 50.11% of the investment realisation, consists of foreign investment (PMA) at Rp 249.94 trillion. According to Rosan’s statement, the top five countries making PMA are Singapore at US$4.6 billion, Hong Kong at US$2.7 billion, China at US$2.2 billion, fourth the United States at US$1.7 billion, and Japan at US$1 billion.
