Prabowo Receives Jusuf Kalla and His Son Solihin Kalla at the Palace

President Prabowo Subianto received the 10th and 12th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla (JK), and his son Solihin J Kalla at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Thursday. According to a broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel, the arrival of Jusuf Kalla and his son was welcomed directly by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. Cabinet Secretary Teddy then escorted the two guests into the room where President Prabowo was waiting at the Merdeka Palace. Prabowo welcomed and shook hands with JK and Solihin before inviting them to sit in the prepared chairs. Meanwhile, Cabinet Secretary Teddy disclosed in his statement that Jusuf Kalla had requested time to meet with President Prabowo. According to the Cabinet Secretary, the request for the meeting was conveyed several days ago. “Oh yes, Mr Vice President Jusuf Kalla a few days ago requested time to meet President Prabowo. He would be coming with his son, who is also a businessman,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy. Teddy explained that President Prabowo always opens up space for communication and fellowship with various national figures, including business actors, as part of efforts to strengthen unity and build collaboration for national progress.
